Churro Fries
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, unsalted
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pastry bag
1M star tip
Top with cinnamon and sugar ( powdered sugar is optional)
Add butter along with the water, milk, and sugar, in a saucepan, bring to a boil. Remove from heat and slowing mix in flour stirring frequently. Transfer the dough into a mixing bowl, and let cool for about 10 minutes. Add 1 egg at a time and mix with an electric mixer.
Use a pastry bag with a 1M star tip, heat your oil in a deep pot. Once the oil is hot squeeze the dough into the oil and cut it with the kitchen scissors when it reaches your desired length. Fry until golden brown, immediately top with cinnamon and sugar.
