Pepper steak and rice
Cooking Process:
Make your sauce and set it to the side. Season steak with seasonings along with minced garlic, and baking soda ( let marinate for about 30 minutes at room temp). Cook steak for about 3 minutes and set it to the side. Next add sesame oil to your skillet and cook your onions, and bell peppers, sprinkle a little salt on the veggies while cooking. Add steak back into the skillet and next add the sauce, and cook until sauce thickens.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak thinly sliced
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp of ground ginger
1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
2 T soy sauce
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp sesame seed oil to cook the veggies in
Sauce:
1 cup beef stock
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
1 T cornstarch
